The new line of Smart TVs are available in two sizes – 65″ for $499 and 75″ for $699 at Walmart.

Picture Quality and Quantum Color

VIZIO says that one of the standout features of the Quantum 4K QLED Smart TV is its exceptional picture quality. It introduces brighter brights, wider viewing angles, and sharper contrasts.

The Quantum 4K QLED Smart TV has Quantum Color technology, offering over 1 billion shades and remarkable detail, according to the company.

“For our 2023-2024 Quantum 4K QLED Smart TV models, we’ve taken everything we’ve learned from years of building high-quality, affordable hardware and packed it into these smart TVs,” said John Schindler, Vice President of Product Management at VIZIO. “We’re thrilled to be able to offer unparalleled entertainment experiences at a tremendous value.”

Schindler added that even more new features will be available with the Quantum’s premium counterpart, the Quantum Pro, which will be announced in a few weeks.

Quantum 4K QLED Smart TV Premium Features

The Quantum 4K QLED Smart TV includes enhanced Dolby Vision Bright+ for lifelike HDR content, a full-array LED backlight for improved contrast, and active pixel tuning for precise image optimization.

The TV sports a sleek 3-side ThinFrame design that can seamlessly integrate into any space. On the audio side, the TV supports Dolby Audio DTS:X, Virtual:X, Dolby Atmos, and DTS-X pass-throughs. VIZIO says you can easily adjust settings using the integrated soundbar menu.

Gaming Performance

For the gaming enthusiasts, the Quantum 4K QLED Smart TV offers native 4K gaming at 60FPS and can reach up to 120FPS at 1080p for the 65″ and 75″ models. This unlocks faster refresh rates and reduces latency to under 7ms, ensuring a smooth gaming experience, VIZIO says.

The TV comes with AMD FreeSync Premium Certification, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and Auto Game Mode, making it a top choice for both console and PC gamers.

Airplay 2.0 and Chromecast support

The Quantum 4K QLED Smart TV features the new VIZIO Home Screen, offering an intuitive design and enhanced customization. It’s equipped with WiFi 6, providing faster streaming and gaming compared to traditional WiFi 4/5.

The TV supports Airplay 2.0 and Chromecast and is compatible with Apple Home, Google Home, and Alexa, ensuring seamless connectivity with your other smart devices.

ESPN app & Football Kickoff Deal

VIZIO has launched its custom-curated Football Kickoff collection for the 2023 pro and college football season. This collection provides easy access to popular streaming apps for live sports viewing and offers hours of free football-themed programming in WatchFree+.

VIZIO fans can use the recently added ESPN App. The app gives sports fans a way to access their ESPN+ subscription, which stream exclusive live sports, replays, and original shows. (An ESPN+ subscription is $9.99 per month.)

I was enthused to hear about the addition of the ESPN app because I thought it was an unfortunate shortcoming of the budget-friendly VIZIO V-Series when I reviewed it in December 2022.

In July, VIZIO added 20 local news channels from FOX and Gray Television to its WatchFree+ streaming service. VIZIO Smart TV’s now integrates over-the-air (OTA) channels from a TV antenna into WatchFree+ along with free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels.

Where to buy VIZIO Quantum 4K QLED Smart TV

Walmart currently has the VIZIO Quantum 4K QLED Smart TV in the 65-inch model for $498, and 75-inch model for $698.

Note that prices may vary depending on the retailer and any ongoing promotions.
