NBC Sports is bringing daily live coverage of this year’s Tour de France, featuring all 21 stages across Peacock, NBC and USA Network from July 1 to July 23.

The 2023 Tour de France covers approximately 2,115 miles, beginning in Bilbao, Spain, and finishing 22 days later in Paris. This year, race fans will be watching defending Tour champion Jonas Vingegaard face off against a number of challengers and past champions, including Mikel Landa, Enric Mas, Tadej Pogacar, David Gaudu and Egan Bernal. 

How to Watch Tour de France 2023 without cable

Watching NBC with or without cable TV is pretty simple. Peacock is the easiest way to stream comprehensive coverage of the Tour de France. USA Network will have encore coverage of various stages of the race.

Who is racing in the Tour de France 2023?

According to NBC Sports, Mark Cavendish, a 34-time stage winner with Astana Qazaqstan Team, is aiming to make Tour de France history. Cavendish hopes to break a tie with Belgian legend Eddy Merckx for the most stage wins in race history. Merckx likewise has 34 stage wins.

Defending champion Jonas Vingegaard (Team Jumbo-Visma) of Denmark and two-time champion and 2022 runner-up Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) of Slovenia, who won this year’s Paris-Nice are the expected yellow jersey frontrunners in this year’s field.

Fabio Jakobsen (Soudal-QuickStep), Caleb Ewan (Lotto-Dstny), Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Deceuninck), who won two stages last year, and seven-time Tour de France points classification winner Peter Sagan (TotalEnergies) are among the expected green jersey contenders. 

Reigning green jersey winner Wout van Aert (Team Jumbo-Visma) is also expected to compete.

There are a number of Americans participating in France’s greatest cycling road race. 

They include 2021 stage winner Sepp Kuss (Team Jumbo-Visma), who helped chaperone Primož Roglič to victory at the 2023 Giro d’Italia.

Neilson Powless (EF Education-EasyPost), who finished 12th overall last year, is back this year. 

Matteo Jorgenson (Movistar), Lawson Craddock (Team Jayco AlUla), and Joe Dombrowski (Astana Qazaqstan Team) are all American contenders for 2023.

Where to Watch Tour de France 2023

NBC will carry live coverage on cable providers and live streaming services. USA Network will have encore coverage of the Tour de France through every stage of the race. 

DIRECTV STREAM, fubo, Hulu Live TV, Sling TV and YouTube TV are the five live streaming platforms that carry NBC and USA Network. 

Peacock will live stream every leg of the Tour de France, along with replays and highlights.

Peacock

Peacock has live coverage of the Tour de France, along with a pre-race show each day. You can watch full-stage replays, highlights, stage recaps, rider interviews, and more. 

The Peacock TV Premium plan costs $4.99 per month. Peacock shows a variety of live sports, including major cycling events such as the Tour de France, Vuelta a España and Critérium du Dauphiné 2023, Sunday Night Football, Notre Dame Football, Premier League, and NASCAR.
