Xfinity is bundling its mobile and home Internet as part of a new promotion.
Starting this week, customers can get home Internet for $30 per month when they add an Xfinity Mobile plan.
Xfinity says the mobile and home internet and mobile bundle comes with a two-year price guarantee and no contract.
The promo currently listed on Xfinity’s website says the mobile plans are “at regular prices.” Xfinity offers one line with unlimited data for $45 per month, and two lines at $40 each per month, according to its website.
The price for an Xfinity mobile plan decreases when you add additional phone lines.
The mobile and internet bundle, which launched on Monday includes some additional perks.
Home Wi-Fi equipment, a Flex 4K streaming TV box and a Peacock Premium subscription are included at no charge.
Xfinity typically charges a $14 per month rental fee for the xFi Gateway Internet modem and Wi-Fi router.
A Peacock Premium subscription costs $4.99 per month. This week, Peacock Premium began showing its new Sunday MLB games.
All those free perks come to an end after the 24 month promotional period, and regular rates then apply. But you’re not held to a contract.
Comcast launched Xfinity Mobile on the Verizon Wireless network in April 2017. The company reported surpassing one million Xfinity Mobile subscribers in the third quarter of 2018.
While the mobile plan does provide unlimited data, there is a caveat worth noting. Xfinity will reduce speeds after 20 GB of usage per line.

The internet plan in the bundle is “Performance Pro”, which has 300 Mbps download speed. You also need to sign up for auto and paperless billing. Performance Pro is currently $39.99 per month on its own.
