Hulu discount: Get $2 per month offer with National Streaming Day

Hulu is offering a discount for new subscribers in celebration of National Streaming Day.

From May 19 to May 27, new subscribers can get a $2 per month rate for three months of Hulu’s ad-supported plan.

The offer lasts until just before midnight on Saturday, May 27th. 

Hulu’s ad-supported plan usually costs $7.99 per month. The streaming service has a library of movies and TV shows that rotates throughout the year. 

This is the cheapest price subscribers have seen since Black Friday. The Black Friday deal offered the $2 per month price for 12 months. 

Hulu remains an inexpensive way for cord-cutters to watch TV shows the day after airing on broadcast networks such as FOX and ABC.  

FOX has TV staples such as “Family Guy” and “The Simpsons.”  You can watch a number of popular series from ABC such as “Will Trent”, “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Station 19.”

Who can sign up for Hulu’s National Streaming Day offer?

All new subscribers can sign up for the National Streaming Day offer. Returning subscribers who have not had a subscription in the past month are eligible as well. 

How much is Hulu after the promotion?

After the promotional period, Hulu’s regular subscription rate of $7.99 per month kicks in. You can cancel your Hulu subscription before the promotional period ends. 

You cannot combine the National Stream Day offer with any free trial that Hulu usually offers for its on-demand streaming service.
