NHL fans can watch Pittsburgh Penguins games without a cable TV or satellite subscription.

Pittsburgh Penguins fans who live within the team’s home market can watch games on SportsNet Pittsburgh. (AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh was sold earlier this year.)

You can catch a majority of out-of-market Pittsburgh Penguins games live on ESPN+. This streaming service, available for $10.99 per month, provides access to NHL Power Play. There are two separate live streams for out-of-market games. There are more than 1,050 out-of-market games this season.

Fubo and DIRECTV STREAM are your two options to catch games on the rebranded SportsNet Pittsburgh, the regional sports network that carries all in-market Pittsburgh Penguins games. These services also offer other key hockey channels, including ESPN, TNT, and local broadcast channels such as ABC.

TNT remains a key channel for national broadcasts. There will be four Pittsburgh Penguins games simulcast on ABC during the 2023-24 season.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have enjoyed remarkable success in recent years, clinching three Stanley Cup championships in 2009, 2016, and 2017. Led by superstar players like Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, the Penguins have consistently been contenders for the coveted trophy. Their dynamic style of play and dedicated fan base make them a formidable force in the world of professional ice hockey.
