Sling TV subscribers can now add Max to their service. This new partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery brings an end to a six-year carriage dispute with HBO, making it easier than ever for Sling users to enjoy top-tier entertainment.
The Max add-on for Sling subscribers is $16.99 per month. This includes access to the Max app and eight live HBO channels, including HBO East, HBO West, HBO 2, HBO Latino, HBO Family, HBO Zone, HBO Comedy, and HBO Signature, directly in the Sling interface.
Sling is offering a $5 monthly discount when adding Max to Sling Blue or Sling Blue + Orange. New subscribers can also get 50% off their base package for the first month, plus the $5 monthly discount.
Sling Blue usually costs $40 per month, while Sling Blue + Orange usually costs $55 per month.
With the discounts applied, new subscribers will pay $20 for Sling Blue or $27.50 for Sling Blue + Orange in their first month, plus $11.99 for Max after the $5 discount.
After the first month, subscribers will continue to receive a $5 monthly discount on the base package, making Sling Blue $35 per month and Sling Blue + Orange $50 per month, plus the $16.99 for Max, according to Sling.
These savings make it an even better deal for cord-cutters looking for premium content at a lower cost.
Adding Max to your Sling subscription is easy. This partnership marks a significant milestone since HBO’s removal from Sling in 2018 due to a carriage dispute. The return of Max adds popular HBO Originals like “Succession”, “The White Lotus”, and “The Sopranos”, along with Max Originals like Hacks and The Sex Lives of College Girls.
