AntennasDirect & Mohu: 20 percent off sale for TV antennas

TV antenna sale runs until Sunday, Oct. 4

AntennasDirect and Mohu are both having a site-wide sale this weekend on any TV antenna of your choice.

The sale includes a 20 percent discount on anything you buy. You get free shipping for orders over $49.99.

So if you’ve been eyeing a new indoor or outdoor TV antenna, these may be the lowest prices you’ll see for 2020.

AntennasDirect purchased Mohu back in January, becoming the largest TV antenna manufacturer in the U.S.

But the company is still operating as two separate brands. To take advantage of the sale, you need to go to their respective sites and use different codes at checkout.

At the Mohu website, use the code BYESUMMER to get the discount.

On AntennasDirect site, type in the code ENDSUMMER to get 20 percent off.

AntennasDirect models generally rank among the best during my own annual testing process. You can read those reviews for the best indoor and outdoor TV antennas.

If you’re trying to figure out which TV antenna might be right for you, AntennasDirect has a tool that can help.

Head over to the transmitter locator tool on the AntennasDirect site and type in your zip code. You will get a readout of broadcast towers in your area, a channel listing and recommendations of which TV antennas should work for you.

Mohu has a similar tool on its site as well.

This tool isn’t foolproof because it doesn’t take into account potential obstacles such as mountains, high-voltage power lines and building materials. But generally speaking, I have found these types of online tools pretty effective in gauging what kind of antenna works.

The sale runs until Oct. 4 (presumably until midnight).
