How to Watch Hallmark Channel Without Cable

By Jim Kimble on September 17, 2020 12:11 pm

UPDATED: Jan. 26, 2021

How to Stream Hallmark Channel

AT&T TV, frndly TV, fuboTV, Philo, Sling TV and Vidgo all carry the Hallmark Channel.

You can watch these channels live TV services without a cable subscription on Roku, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Apple TV or Google Chromecast.

Watch Hallmark Channel Without Cable

There’s never been more ways to watch Hallmark Channel and its sister networks on the cheap.

You don’t even need a cable TV or DIRECTV subscription anymore to watch the latest Hallmark shows and movies.

You can stream popular shows such as When Calls the Heart free for a limited time. And you can stream new movies, including Snowkissed and Taking a Shot at Love using a Roku, Amazon Fire TV Stick or Smart TV.

This guide will quickly show you how to watch Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Drama and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries without cable TV.

The best way to get all three Hallmark networks without cable, including Hallmark Drama, is through Philo. You get 63 live TV channels, including HGTV, Travel Channel (Trvl) and Food Network for $20 per month.

You can look over Philo’s channel lineup, or sign up for a free 7-day trial in under a minute using your mobile number. Philo works on Roku, Fire TV, Firestick, Android TV and Apple TV devices.

There are other options for cutting the cord from your cable TV subscription. So it’s good to weigh the pros and cons of each streaming service to figure out what the best fit for you.

How to Stream Hallmark Channel Live

There are a few advantages to using a live TV streaming service instead of cable or satellite. You can easily cancel your service online if you don’t want it anymore. No more dealing with customer service reps on the phone. No more contracts.

Some cord cutters even jump from live streaming platform to another just so they can have a certain set of channels when a new season of a favorite show comes on the air.

Most of these live TV streaming services have a free week long trial, so you can see if it’s a good fit for you without having to pay anything.

So long as you have a decent Internet connection and a streaming device like a Roku or Amazon Fire TV or Fire Stick, you’re ready to go. There are a number of good ways to get Internet without a cable provider, or to negotiate a better price.

Live Stream Hallmark Channel on Philo

Philo specializes in sought-after entertainment channels once exclusive to cable TV.

Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Drama, and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is included alongside networks like A&E, History Channel, HGTV, TLC and AMC.

Subscribers get unlimited Cloud DVR. So you can record a whole season of a show with one click of your remote.

Philo doesn’t carry any sports channels or local channels. And that’s why the company can keep its monthly price so low.

You can watch live TV through your Philo app on a Roku, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Google Chromecast or Apple TV. Philo also has apps for iPhones and iPads.

Philo also supports activating more than 40 apps. So if you wanted to catch up on a favorite show on your AMC app, now you can. I’ve been subscribing to Philo since 2017 and remain very happy with the service.

Check out the channel selection or sign up for a free 7-day trial. You can easily cancel online if Philo isn’t for you.

fuboTV: Live Stream Hallmark Channels

fuboTV has all three Hallmark networks among the 120+ channels in the family bundle.

So don’t be fooled into thinking that fuboTV is only about college football, NASCAR and ESPN. This live TV streaming platform is aimed at being an overall replacement of a cable TV or satellite provider.

A&E, Bravo, HGTV, Travel Channel, National Geographic, Oxygen Network, Food Network, Lifetime Movies and Fox News are part of a 120+ channel bundle.

Did I mention that Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Drama and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries are included?

fuboTV includes 250 hours of Cloud DVR. and features entertainment and select sports in 4K picture resolution.

A subscription costs $64.99 per month. fuboTV works on Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, Smart TVs and Google Chromecast with Google TV.

Check out what local channels that fuboTV has before signing up for a free 7-day trial.

Vidgo: Stream all 3 Hallmark channels

Vidgo has the Hallmark Channel and more than 85 other live TV channels. A&E, ESPN, and History are among some of Vidgo’s most popular channels.

Subscribers can stream on up to three devices at once. Vidgo has apps on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Android TV devices such as Google Chromecast.

When you sign up for Vidgo, you’ll pay only $10 per month for the first two months. The regular price is $55 per month.

frndly: 7-day free trial

Stream Hallmark channel live with AT&T TV

An AT&T TV subscription lets you live stream all three Hallmark channels either from home on your Roku, or on the go using a smartphone or tablet.

The Entertainment plan has 65+ channels for $69.99 per month. ESPN, Nickelodeon and HGTV are included in the channel lineup.

A subscription requires no contract. You get 20 hours of Cloud DVR and 40,000 on-demand movies and shows.

AT&T TV works on Roku, Android TV, Fire TV devices, Apple TV and smartphones and tablets.

You can look over the channel lineups and packages before deciding whether to sign up.

Can I watch the Hallmark channel on YouTube TV?

YouTube TV doesn’t currently offer the Hallmark Channel. But YouTube TV has been adding channels since its inception.

So you could see some new channels come to YouTube TV in the future.

Watch all three Hallmark channels on Sling TV

Sling TV carries all three Hallmark networks. That includes Hallmark Drama, Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

At $35 per month, it’s also one of the least expensive options around for replacing your cable subscription.

Sling TV has two main channel bundles called Sling Orange and Sling Blue. You can subscribe to either the Orange or Blue bundle for $30 per month.

But you’ll need to subscribe to an add-on channel bundle called Lifestyle Extra for all the Hallmark networks. It costs another $5 per month.

Sling Orange has ESPN, AMC and Disney Channel. Adding Lifestyle Extra adds 10 channels under the Orange plan. So you’ll have 43 channels total.

Sling Blue has NFL Network, HGTV and Food Network for $30 per month. Lifestyle Extra with the Blue bundle also adds 10 more channels. You will have 56 channels total.

Sling Blue is probably the better deal for most people. But you can look over the Sling TV channel lineup before deciding.

Sling TV has a free 3-day trial. You can start watching with a Roku, Fire TV, Smart TVs, Google Chromecast and smartphones.

If you prepay for a brief subscription, you can get a free streaming device.

What’s the best way to watch Hallmark Channel without cable?

Philo is the best live TV streaming service where you can watch Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Drama and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on the cheap.

So if you’re a fan of all three channels, I’d suggest trying out Philo free for a week. A subscription costs $20 per month.

Sling TV also offers all three Hallmark channels for about $35 per month, but remember that these channels are part of an add-on known as the Lifestyle bundle. You can try out Sling TV free for three days to see if it’s a good fit for you.

You can also take advantage of their offers for a free streaming device or TV antenna.

If you decide live TV streaming is not for you, just be sure to cancel online before the trial period ends so you don’t get billed.

Hallmark is a big deal and not only for me- it is for so many. Why can’t we purchase an all in Hallmark like we do on CBS All Access? I hate having to search and guess which Hallmark station for something I want to see. I subscribe to Hallmark Movies Now and have Hallmark on Apple TV. But when I try to find shows like Mystery Woman series (complete) I can’t find them. So frustrating…

FUBO is suppose to have 110 channels. I only get 81 of them and NONE of the hallmark channels. I can’t find any information as to why.

Every one wants hallmark as a separate app at the reasonable price without an extra bill of
    $30.00 -$50.00.

I will subscribe to Sling for Nov & Dec to watch the Christmas movies on Hallmark and then cancel.

I watch so little TV that I would gladly pay $10 a month for something like Hallmark Movies Now if they put all the movies they produced on it.

Sadly we will never have true ala carte pricing.

I cut the cable cord and no longer get my beloved Hallmark movies. I, too, do not want to just keep adding packages. I already pay $14/month for Amazon Prime Video as itgives me music, Alexa, and free shipping for Amazon. I do not want to have to add another package. So, goodbye Hallmark. Can Hallmark do anything about this (like have a Hallmark only package?

I am going to be really sad to lose the Hallmark Movie & Mystery channel; it’s one of my favorites and one of the few I would be willing to pay a monthly fee to the network directly to have access to it. As many others have already pointed out it defeats the purpose of leaving cable TV if I then have to sign up for a bunch of streaming packages I don’t want to be able to see the few I do want. Maybe someday we’ll actually get ala carte services.

I looked into it, thinking I could that instead of Sling. No. It has very limited, older, what they pick content. Hallmark is not affliated with Now. Its not for same content as what’s on cable. And Sling is now,$25 + $5 for Lifestyle pkg. So these guys are heading same direction as cable…..not good for consumer.

I agree/concur with you 100%. I like Hallmark and you have to pay a high price for cable service for channels you do not watch or just trash stations for $30-$50 a month. You should be able to select your channels for your price point base on an a la carte menu and not what the cable companies push on customers. I finally cut the cord and cancelled DIRECTV after many years (who has awful customer service). I may try Amazon Fire TV.

The “cut the cord” companies suggest you can buy packages without all the needless channels; however, it’s really no different than cable. You have to buy the “package” in order to get Hallmark… too bad you can’t just select the channels you really want. I don’t need the packages–just Hallmark. So, the question becomes–is Hallmark worth $25/month ($300/year)?

You can not view Hallmark movies or Channel unless you subscribe to a provider of some sort be it cable or on line provider. You can not subscribe to Hallmark directly. I wish we could, but we can not! You must pay a price for a provider regardless of what anyone says. You pay Sling $20.00 / month then $4.99 / month for Hallmark! This should be made clear to all.
