There are some new options to watch NFL RedZone without cable this season. But Sling TV is once again the cheapest option this season.

DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo, Hulu Live TV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV all carry NFL RedZone in their channel lineups.

Some live TV streaming services require an add-on bundle for NFL RedZone, but not all of them. If you are OK with spending your Sundays watching the network on your smartphone, you can sign up for the NFL RedZone streaming channel or NFL Plus instead.

Streaming Services Analysis

Sling TV is the most budget-friendly option, especially for those who use a TV antenna for local channels to watch NFL games. Its Blue plan, priced at $40 per month with the Sports Extra bundle at an additional $11, is cost-effective for NFL enthusiasts, despite its limitation of no CBS coverage.

DIRECTV STREAM, on the higher end, offers a comprehensive package including NFL RedZone, with the Choice plan at $108.99 per month. This plan stands out for its inclusion of local channels and unlimited household streaming, making it ideal for families or shared accommodations.

What is NFL RedZone?

NFL RedZone airs every Sunday afternoon during the regular season. It shows the scoreboard and of every game in progress – up to 8 games at once. You’ll see every touchdown too.

The show is hosted by Scott Hanson, and it’s most useful for fantasy football fans that are tracking their stats in near real time.

How to Watch NFL RedZone Live

There are a number of quick and simple ways to live stream NFL RedZone on a Smart TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and even a smartphone.

Live TV streaming services are supported on a variety of Smart TVs, including LG, Sony, Samsung, and Vizio. Smart TVs running on Android TV or Google TV are supported as well.

To get complete game coverage during the NFL season, you will want other key networks, including ESPN, NFL Network, ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC

Keep in mind that cord-cutters can use a TV antenna for local broadcast channels. That can get you most NFL games without cable or satellite TV service.

NFL Redzone is on Sling TV’s Sports Extra bundle when you subscribe to the Blue plan.

Sling TV can be a good option if you already use a TV antenna or have another way to get local channels that carry NFL games. Sling TV does have local ABC, NBC and FOX stations in a limited number of markets, but no CBS. 

A subscription to Sling Blue costs $40 per month and carries 41 channels including NFL Network. The Sports Extra bundle costs another $11 per month.

Sling Blue subscribers can watch live TV on three screens at once.

Sports Extra carries 12 channels, NFL RedZone, Longhorn Network, ACC Network, ACCNX, SEC Network+, FS2 and Pac-12 Networks. 

If you want ESPN in your channel lineup, you can combine Sling Orange with Sling Blue for $55 per month. But you will still need Sports Extra to add RedZone.

Sling TV is ideal for budget-conscious NFL fans who prioritize affordability over comprehensive local channel coverage. Compared to Fubo, Sling TV offers a more economical choice but with fewer regional sports channels.

There are no contracts, or extra fees like cable TV.

DIRECTV STREAM is now offering NFL RedZone and NFL Network in their channel lineups as part of a multi-year deal with NFL Media.

NFL Redzone will be offered through a new DIRECTV Sports Pack, which was previously available only to DIRECTV satellite subscribers. Pricing for the new Sports Pack is not yet available. 

But DIRECTV STREAM disclosed that NFL Network will be available through the Choice package.

The Choice plan includes local broadcast channels such as ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC. You get ACC Network (ACCN), CNN, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, ESPNU, and SEC Network.

Subscribers get more than 105 channels, unlimited Cloud DVR to record NFL games and 40,000 on-demand movies and shows. Subscribers can watch live TV channels on unlimited screens within a household. The Choice plan costs $99.99 per month.  

DIRECTV STREAM has three other plans. 

The Entertainment plan has more than 75 TV channels.

The Ultimate package has more than 140 channels, including local channels, and more sports and entertainment channels. The Premier Package has over 150 channels, including premium channels such as Max, Cinemax and Showtime.

Subscribers can get three months of Max, Showtime, STARZ, Cinemax and MGM+ (formerly EPIX) for free before the monthly rates kick in.

DIRECTV STREAM is a good option for families or shared households looking for extensive channel variety, including local stations. While pricier than Sling TV, it provides more comprehensive coverage and unlimited streaming within the household.

There are no contracts. You can subscribe month to month and cancel whenever you want. DIRECTV STREAM works on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Smart TVs running on Android TV and Google TV.

fubo has complete NFL coverage from pretty much any channel you need. ESPN and local ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX stations are among 167 live TV channels in the Pro bundle alongside NFL Network.

fubo is also great for regional sports channels, including NESN and Marquee Sports Network.

On the entertainment front, fubo has AMC, A&E, BBC America, FX, TNT, National Geographic and Vice TV. fubo subscribers can activate TV Everywhere apps for 41 networks.

Subscribers can stream live TV on 10 screens at once.

fubo offers select sporting events in 4K for Elite and Premier subscribers. A subscription comes with 1,000 hours of Cloud DVR and fubo “lookback”, which has all games that aired within the last 72 hours.

This TV service is a top choice for those valuing a wide array of sports and entertainment channels, including regional sports networks. It stands as a more comprehensive but costlier alternative to Sling TV’s more focused sports offering.

fubo works on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, PCs, smartphones and Android TV devices like Google Chromecast with Google TV.

Hulu with Live TV has over 75 live TV channels, including NFL Network, FOX, NBC, CBS and ESPN. NFL RedZone is part of the Sports add-on bundle, which costs $9.99 per month. A subscription costs $76.99 per month.

Subscribers get more than just live TV channels to watch. You’ll also have full access to ESPN+, Disney+ and Hulu’s on-demand library. ESPN+ had a number of Monday Night Football games last year, and streams “NFL Primetime” during the regular season.

You get unlimited Cloud DVR so you can record whatever you want. Hulu lets subscribers watch live TV on up to two screens at once.

Hulu with Live TV has apps for Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, Android TV and just about every other streaming device out there.

You can live stream NFL RedZone through a Hulu Live TV subscription on your PC, XBox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. iPhones, iPads and Android devices can stream Hulu with Live TV too.

Hulu Live TV is suited for subscribers who desire a balance of sports, including NFL coverage, with popular entertainment and news channels. It offers added value with Disney+ and ESPN+ but has a more limited DVR and streaming capability compared to YouTube TV.

You can look over the channel lineup before deciding whether to sign up. There are no contracts and you can cancel whenever you want.

YouTube TV subscribers have a couple of options for streaming RedZone. YouTube TV has a sports bundle that includes NFL Redzone. 

The base plan has 128 channels, including ESPN, Big Ten Network, FS1, MLB Network, and NBA TV for $72.99 per month.

A subscription to YouTube TV costs $72.99 per month. The base package has local ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX stations along with ESPN and ESPN2.

The Sports Plus add-on channel bundle costs an additional $10.99 per month. Sports Plus carries NFL RedZone and 6 other channels.

YouTube TV now offers an option for NFL Sunday Ticket for $299 per season. With a Sunday Ticket subscription, you can add on NFL RedZone for $339 for the season. 

Subscribers get unlimited Cloud DVR storage for recordings. You can watch live TV on up to three screens at once.

YouTube has apps for Amazon Fire Stick and Fire TV devices, Android TV and Apple TV. There is Chromecast support and mobile iOS and Android. YouTube TV carries a free 7-day trial.

YouTube TV is a solid pick for sports enthusiasts seeking a broad selection of channels and an excellent DVR option. While offering a diverse range of channels, it’s more expensive than Hulu Live TV but compensates with its unlimited Cloud DVR.

If you don’t want to pay for YouTube TV, you can get Sunday Ticket and RedZone just as a standalone option through YouTube. The streaming package costs $439 per season.

This year, NFL+ became a new option for watch NFL RedZone on smartphones and tablets.

You can watch NFL RedZone by subscribing to NFL Plus Premium. NFL Plus Premium lets you watch live, local games during the regular and postseason. You get access to NFL Network and game replays.

A subscription is $14.99 per month after a free trial.

NFL+ is best for mobile-only users who want live local and primetime games without needing a full TV streaming service. This service is more limited compared to full-fledged streaming services like DIRECTV STREAM but offers affordability and mobile convenience.

This option should not be confused with the NFL RedZone streaming channel. A subscription to the NFL RedZone streaming channel is $35 per season. You can sign up through the NFL app on Android or iOS app stores. 

You will need a more expensive live TV streaming service if you want to watch RedZone on your TV.

How to Watch NFL RedZone Without Cable FAQs

These are questions football fans ask when searching for ways to stream NFL RedZone without a TV provider.

Can I watch NFL RedZone on my phone?

Yes. You can subscribe to NFL Plus Premium, or the NFL RedZone streaming channel through the NFL app. But keep in mind that you can only watch RedZone on your smartphone, not on your TV.

NFL Plus Premium is $14.99 per month after a free trial. A subscription to the streaming channel is $35 per season. You can sign up through the NFL app on Android or iOS app stores. 

You will need a more expensive live TV streaming service if you want to watch RedZone on your TV. 

How to get NFL RedZone on Smart TV

You can subscribe to DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo, Hulu Live TV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV to stream NFL RedZone on a Smart TV. But plans, prices and channel lineups vary for each subscription.

How much does NFL RedZone cost?

NFL RedZone through a live TV streaming service can cost between $51 and $84 per month. Sling TV’s Blue plan with the Sports Extra add-on is the cheapest option at $51 per month. RedZone with Sunday Ticket is $439 per season through YouTube under Primetime Channels.

You can sign up for a standalone NFL RedZone subscription, but the network is only available to watch on a smartphone through the NFL app. A full season costs $34.99. 

What channel is NFL RedZone on DIRECTV?

NFL RedZone is offered on DIRECTV and DIRECTV STREAM through the new DIRECTV Sports Pack. DIRECTV has yet to release details on exact pricing and plans that will carry RedZone and NFL Network. 

Do you get NFL RedZone with NFL Plus?

You can get NFL Redzone through an NFL Plus Premium. Subscribers can watch live, local in-market games and NFL RedZone on mobile phones and tablets, not on TV. The Premium Plan is $14.99 per month, and lets you watch out-of-market games and all replays. The service offers a free 7-day trial.

Can you watch RedZone on the NFL app?

Yes. You can subscribe to NFL RedZone within the NFL app on Android smartphones and iPhones devices. A subscription is $35 per season. But you can only watch RedZone on your smartphone, not on your TV or elsewhere.

How to get NFL RedZone on Roku

Pick a live TV streaming service that carries RedZone, and sign up online for a free trial or a subscription. You can look over plans for DIRECTV STREAM, fubo, Hulu Live TV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV. Once you pick a subscription download the app to your Roku and login with your username and password.

Is NFL RedZone on Amazon Prime Video?

NFL RedZone is not on Amazon Prime Video. But Amazon Prime members can watch Thursday Night Football as part of their annual subscription.

How to get RedZone on a Firestick

Amazon Fire TV users can subscribe to live streaming services like DIRECTV STREAM, fubo, Hulu Live TV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV to watch NFL RedZone.
