Fast Internet for $39.99 and a $50 Visa®️ Prepaid Card
This post is a sponsored opportunity from Verizon Fios. However, all content and opinions expressed here are my own.
Having a fast Internet service is critical when you become a streaming household. One of the most common questions I get is how to get standalone Internet for a decent price.
Here’s a current promotion worth considering. When you subscribe to 100/100 Mbps Internet from Verizon Fios, you’ll pay just $39.99 per month⃰. And you can get a $50 Visa® Prepaid Card.
Why I recommend Verizon Fios
I often tell family and friends to first check to see if Verizon Fios Home Internet is available at their home if they are thinking about cutting the cord.
When my parents transitioned from a cable bundle to streaming services, I helped them sign up for Verizon Fios Home Internet. Why? Because I know they’ll have fast Internet, and enough bandwidth to handle their streaming devices, smartphones and computers.
If you’re in a contract with another Internet service provider, Verizon will help cover the early termination fees with a bill credit of up to $500. You can also save on the standard set-up charge when you order online.
Even if you’re someone who owns a 4K television, Fios gives you plenty of bandwidth for 4K UHD streaming while using other devices in your home.
Where is Verizon Fios available?
Verizon Fios is currently available in 9 metro areas in the U.S. They include Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania; Providence, Rhode Island and Washington D.C.
Verizon is offering 5G Home in Four Cities
Verizon is continuing to expand Internet service all over the U.S. In 2019, the expansion will include its 5G network.
Residents in parts of Houston, Sacramento, Los Angeles and Indianapolis can currently order 5G Home, and Verizon will expand its service into more markets later this year.
What else should I know about Verizon Fios?
Verizon Fios is a 100 percent fiber-optic network. Verizon provides a router to new customers for rental, or you can buy your own Verizon router if you want to avoid monthly rental charges.
Getting the 100/100 Mbps plan means your home will have 100 Megabits per second to stream or download movies and 100 Megabits to upload photos or videos to social media.
The promotion for 100/100 Mbps with a $50 Visa® Prepaid Card is only available for a limited time. You can easily check to see if Verizon Fios is available in your area.
Be sure to sign-up for auto-pay to lock in the $39.99 per month price. Your price will be guaranteed for a year. (It doesn’t include taxes, fees or equipment charges like renting a router.)
If you live in a city where Verizon has rolled out 5G Home, you can check availability in your neighborhood and sign up.

Of course, when I ‘enter my zip code’ (which is Southern California, North County San Diego) it’s not available.
I’ve never “entered my zip code” and had ANY service “available in my area”. Yet I live between San Diego and Los Angeles. Go figure?????????
