Live stream NBC Sports Chicago on Apple TV, Fire TV or an iPhone

You don’t need a cable subscription anymore to watch NBC Sports Chicago live without cable.

Sports fans can watch the Chicago Cubs, White Sox, Chicago Blackhawks, and Chicago Bulls with a NBC Sports Chicago live stream.

AT&T TV Now, Sling TV, Hulu with Live TV and fuboTV are among six live TV streaming services that carry NBC regional sports networks.

What’s the cheapest option?

Right now, it’s the Sling Blue channel bundle for $25 per month.

But if you want ESPN too, then Hulu with Live TV is the better value. Hulu’s Live TV option has ESPN, a 75+ channel bundle, 50 hours of Cloud DVR and unlimited access to Hulu’s on-demand library. A subscription is $44.99 per month. It makes the most sense if you are already paying for Hulu’s on-demand service since that’s included with a Hulu Live subscription.

You can see what local and regional sports channels are available in your area.

Comcast SportsNet Chicago is NBC Sports Chicago

By the way, NBC Sports Chicago was called Comcast SportsNet Chicago (or CSN Chicago) until late last year when it was re-branded.

Only the name changed, not the programming.

The number of live TV streaming services carrying regional sports networks has been growing. And if you want a NBC Sports Chicago and a specific channel lineup that includes say, ESPN, Fox Sports One or HGTV then keep reading.

This guide is aimed at Chicago-area sports fans living in Indiana, Wisconsin and Illinois. Game coverage for certain teams or leagues largely depends on where you live. I’ll show you how you can double check whether NBC Sports Chicago is in your zip code before you sign up for a free trial.

Chicago Cubs fans can also catch some nationally televised games on FOX using a TV antenna. But for most of the season, you’ll want NBC Sports Chicago for home games, and ESPN and FS1 to watch games currently listed on MLB’s National Broadcast Schedule.

Hulu with Live TV has a well-rounded channel lineup that includes ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, local networks such as NBC and CBS and entertainment networks. Bravo, Food Network and National Geographic are part of the channel lineup.

Live TV subscribers get the on-demand library as part of a subscription, which includes Hulu Originals like the Handmaid’s Tale. People pay $5.99 per month for a subscription to Hulu’s on-demand service. So you’re essentially getting two streaming services for the price of one.
