How to Watch Dallas Cowboys Live Without Cable
This guide is going to show you how to live stream Dallas Cowboy games on Roku, Apple TV or a Firestick without cable TV.
Forget about illegal Reddit NFL streams. You don’t need to pay Comcast (Xfinity) or any cable company.
There are two solid, perfectly legal options to watch ESPN, CBS, FOX and NBC. If you don’t want to live stream games, you can watch 99 percent of the Cowboys season for free using a TV antenna.
Right now, the best live TV streaming service for regular season Dallas Cowboys games is Hulu with Live TV.
I picked Hulu’s Live TV service because it carries more local NBC, CBS and FOX stations across the U.S. than any other competitor out there. Those three channels will carry 99 percent of Cowboys games this season.
With Hulu, you’ll get 65+ live TV channels, including key sports networks like ESPN, FS1 and FS2 with 50 hours of Cloud DVR included. And you’ll get unlimited access to its on-demand library that people pay $5.99 per month for. So you’re getting a second streaming service for the price of one. Hulu + Live TV has a free 7-day trial.
Look over the channel lineup yourself to see how what local channels and regional sports networks are offered in your area.
Don’t like it? Fine. Just cancel online. You can live stream Dallas Cowboys games on your iPhone or Android smartphone using Hulu’s Live TV service. You can also watch Cowboys games on a Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV and Nintendo Switch.
Different Ways to Watch Dallas Cowboys games
Before you go about looking over your cord cutting options, it’s important to know that 99 percent of Dallas Cowboys games are being aired on FOX, CBS and NBC. Only ONE GAME is on ESPN this year.
How to Watch Dallas Cowboys Free Without Cable
If you don’t want to live stream NFL games, there’s an excellent change you can get the networks you need for free with a TV antenna. You just need to be within range of broadcast towers. Use the free tool at AntennaWeb and type in your zip code or address to see how far away you are from broadcast towers.
If you’re between 30 and 50 miles from your towers, then you have a very good chance of getting the networks you’ll need. The great thing about watching Dallas Cowboys games (or anything, really) with an antenna is that you’ll get a crisp HD picture in 1080i or 720p. This picture will generally look better than local cable TV because you’re getting an uncompressed signal.
You may find out that you only get one or two of the channels you need. Remember, cord cutting is generally an ad-hoc solution. So you may end up using an antenna and a live streaming service to get all your games. Using an antenna to watch football is perfectly legal – pretty much the polar opposite of relying on reddit NFL streams.
