How to Watch PAC 12 Network Without Cable

August 18, 2019 by Jim Kimble8 Comments

How to Watch PAC 12 Network Live Without Cable TV

If you want to watch PAC 12 Network without cable, the cheapest option is Sling TV at $40 per month.

But listen, it’s not the only option out there to live stream NCAA basketball or college football. And you certainly don’t need DIRECTV, or cable companies like Xfinity or Cox.

If you’re reading this guide, you may have landed here because AT&T dropped PAC-12 Network from its U-Verse service.

Big Ten Network almost suffered a similar fate with Comcast a while back. Getting caught up in disputes between cable companies and networks is pointless, considering the number of streaming and cord cutting options out there.

Here’s a quick breakdown of your best options to watch Pac-12 Network live without cable.

Sling TV: Watch Pac-12 Network Live Stream

Sling TV is your cheapest way to watch PAC-12 Network without a cable subscription.

The important thing to remember is that you’re going to need to add the Sports Extra bundle to watch PAC-12 Network. But first, you need to decide whether you go with the Sling Orange or Sling Blue channel bundle.

Sports Extra under Sling Orange vs Sling Blue

Sling Orange has ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, AMC and 28 other channels for $30 per month. Sports Extra costs $10 more per month, and adds about 12 more channels. Those channels are beIN SPORTS, ESPN Bases Loaded, ESPN Goal Line, ESPNews, ESPNU, NBA TV, NHL Network, Outside Television, PAC-12 Network, SEC Network, SEC Network Plus and Stadium.

Sling Blue gets you 45 channels for $30 per month. FOX regional sports networks, FS1, FS2, NBC, and NBC regional sports networks are on Sling Blue. Adding the Sports Extra bundle to Sling Blue costs $10 more per month, and adds about 9 channels. Those channels are beIN SPORTS, Golf Channel, NBA TV, NFL RedZone, NHL Network, Olympic Channel, Outside Television, PAC 12 Network and Stadium.

Note: there’s no ESPN in the Sling Blue channel lineup. You’ll need to have Sling Orange and Sling Blue together for ESPN channels. You can get both Sling Orange and Sling Blue together for $45 per month. Subscribers can also activate up to 22 TV Everywhere apps, depending on your subscription.

Cloud DVR costs another $5 per month for 50 hours. Depending on your needs, you can get PAC 12 for about $30 per month. You can look over the channel lineup to see what’s available in your area.

With Sling TV, you can watch PAC-12 Network on Roku, Fire Stick, Apple TV, smart phones, Android TV software, AirTV Player, Chromecast, and Xbox. Sling TV offers a free 7-day trial. There are no contracts, and you can easily cancel online whenever you want.

fuboTV: Watch PAC 12 Network Live Stream

You can watch PAC 12 Network by subscribing to fuboTV’s entry-level channel lineup.

The sports-first streaming service pulls together a cross section of key sports channels, entertainment networks like A&E and news from CNN, MSNBC and Fox News. For $59.99 per month, subscribers get 100+ channels, 30 hours of Cloud DVR, and an on-demand library of sporting events that aired in the last 72 hours.

fuboTV carries local NBC, FOX and CBS stations in most of the U.S. along with regional sports networks. There are RSNs from NBC, FOX and smaller ones including NESN, MSG and YES Network.

FS1, FS2, Big Ten Network, NFL Network, NBA TV and beIN SPORTS are part of the entry-level channel lineup too. fuboTV does not have ESPN.

For entertainment networks, there’s AMC, BBC America, Bravo, USA, TNT, FX, Nat Geo Wild, SyFy and Viceland. Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV and Android TV devices like NVIDIA Shield TV all have fuboTV apps.

fuboTV subscribers can activate 41 TV Everywhere apps, including the PAC 12 Now app on iOS and Android devices. Having TV Everywhere access is another way to get extra live streams from apps like FXNOW, National Geographic and FOX Sports GO.

Sports Extra for 6 more PAC 12 Networks: Arizona, Los Angeles and PAC 12 Mountain

If you want one of the six other PAC 12 channels, then you can sign up for the Sports Plus bundle. That gives you 21 more channels for an additional $8.99 per month.

The Sports Plus bundle includes NFL RedZone, all four Stadium networks, Sports Illustrated TV, Golf TV English, Golf TV Spanish, PAC 12 Arizona, PAC 12 Bay Area, PAC 12 Los Angeles, PAC 12 Mountain, PAC 12 Oregon, PAC 12 Washington, FOX College Sports Atlantic, FOX College Sports Pacific, FNTSY, Fight Network and TyC Sports.

You can try fuboTV free for a week and cancel online if you don’t like it. If you keep your subscription beyond the free trial, then you’ll get $10 off your first month. Ready my full review of fuboTV for more details about the service.

Does Hulu have PAC 12 Network?

No. Hulu with Live TV carries networks that does broadcast some PAC 12 games. These networks include ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, FS1, FS2, FOX and FOX Sports (regional networks).

Does the Pac 12 Now app work on Roku, Fire TV?

No. At the moment, the PAC 12 Now app only works on Android and iOS devices, so you are restricted to your smart phone or tablet. Subscribers to fubo can log in to the pac12.com site and watch live games.

What’s the best way to watch PAC 12 Network without cable?

Sling TV is the cheapest way possible to live stream PAC 12 Network to your TV using a Roku or other streaming device. With the Sports Extra bundle, you can watch PAC 12 live for about $40 per month. Not bad.

Just remember, if you’re looking for PAC 12 Network and all the other networks that carry NCAA games, then your price might be more. You can try Sling TV free for a week. There are no contracts, or extra fees like cable TV.

fuboTV might be a better value because you’re getting Cloud DVR included, and the sports “look back” feature that has all games aired in the last 72 hours. You may not have ESPN, but you’ll get a larger variety of sports, entertainment and news channels. You can look over what local channels and regional sports networks are in your area. fuboTV offers a free 7-day trial with no obligations.

Directv must have it in for west coast sports, it took them 5 years to get the Dodgers on 690. They have other networks like Longhorn, ACC, etc. What do they have against the western US?

The six Pac-12 Regional Networks are included with Sling Orange or Blue ($25) + Sports Extra ($10), Or Sling Orange and Blue ($25) + Sports Extra ($10).

The Pac-12 National Network is not included, but any live event on the National network will be available on at least one of the Regional networks.

When will any of these channels get a per game or per day stream going? I can’t fathom paying for subscription TV to get 1 day of 1 channel for a water polo game. Off to find a restaurant that will tune in a channel for my group.

Just wasted 2 hours trying to find a PAC -12 game online. All roads lead you back to tv carrier. Tried to upgrade Xfinity for $10 more per month, but…sorry! Not on a Saturday!! Pathetic
