Only the name changed, not the programming.

This guide is aimed at Chicago-area sports fans living in Indiana, Wisconsin and Illinois. Game coverage for certain teams or leagues largely depends on where you live. I’ll show you how you can double check whether NBC Sports Chicago is in your zip code before you sign up for a free trial.
What do I need to live stream NBC Sports Chicago?

If you want a regional sports network like NBC Sports Chicago, you’ll have to subscribe to DirecTV Now’s channel bundle called “Just Right”.
That gives you access to 80+ live channels for $50 per month. Animal Planet, CBS, Comedy Central, Discovery, ESPN, FOX Sports 1 and MLB Network are part of this channel lineup. DirecTV is gradually rolling out its Cloud DVR feature. It should be available to all customers pretty soon. In 2018, AT&T plans on making DirecTV Now the first live TV streaming platform to support 4K.
DirecTV Now is the best platform to use if you plan on watching live baseball games on your iPhone or Android smartphone while you’re not at home. (Just watch out for those data charges if you’re not an AT&T customer.)
You can look use DirecTV Now’s search tool by entering your zip code to determine whether NBC Sports Chicago is offered in your area. Keep in mind that it may be listed under its old name CSN Chicago. There’s also a larger list that can tell you what teams games are available per zip code.
Subscribers get a huge on-demand movie selection. DirecTV Now also supports more than 50 TV Everywhere apps for networks like AMC, BBC America, FX Now, Fox Sports Go and NBC Sports.

Watch NBC Sports Chicago live with Sling TV?
Like I mentioned earlier, Sling TV is the least expensive route to getting an NBC Sports Chicago live stream.
Sling TV still advertises itself as a way to “watch CSN Chicago online”, so it’s bit behind with catching up with NBC’s rebranding. To its credit, the site does publish a live channel guide so you can see what’s about to air.
The Sling Blue bundle carries regional sports channels along with AMC, TNT, Epix Drive-In and NFL Network. You can even get local NBC and FOX stations in select markets. The Blue channel bundle comes with FS1 and FS2. You can use your zip code with Sling TV’s online search tool to make sure NBC Sports Chicago is available in your area.
Sling TV works on just about every streaming device on the market, including Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV devices and Roku.
Sling Blue costs $25 per month, and for another $5 per month, you’ll get 50 hours of Cloud DVR storage for all your shows, games and movies. If you want ESPN, you will have to get the Sling Orange and Sling Blue bundles for $40 per month. That will give you 50 channels total.

PlayStation Vue: Watch NBC Sports Chicago live stream without cable
Get the “Core” bundle on PlayStation Vue if you want to access to regional sports channels, including NBC Sports Chicago. The Core bundle has about 66 channels for $44.99 per month. Unlimited Cloud DVR is included in your subscription.
PlayStation Vue apps are available on Amazon Fire TV, NVIDIA Shield TV, Apple TV, Roku, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles. Sony has blackout restrictions on some channels when you’re not streaming from your home address. The company offers a free 5-day trial for new customers.
YouTube TV: Live Stream NBC Sports Chicago without cable
YouTube TV has a long roster of regional sports networks. A subscription will cost $40 per month for roughly 50 channels. ESPN, FOX, FX and IFC are part of the channel lineup. Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast and Xbox One are among the supported devices. You can try out YouTube TV free for 7 days.
Hulu with Live TV: NBC Sports Chicago Live Stream without cable

What’s the best way to get NBC Sports Chicago live without cable?
The Sling Blue channel bundle is definitely the bargain above all others at $25 per month, or $30 per month if you choose to have Cloud DVR. Adding ESPN is going to put your monthly rate at $40 per month.
