Subscribers will get 9 live Showtime channels
fuboTV added Showtime as an add-on to its entry-level channel package today for $10.99 per month.
Subscribers will get 9 live Showtime channels, including Showtime East, Showtime West, Showtime 2, Showtime Showcase, Showtime Extreme, Showtime Beyond, Showtime Next, Showtime Women and Showtime Family.
Subscribers get access to thousands of hours of video on demand as part of the add-on, including Showtime’s original hit shows like Billions, Ray Donovan, The Chi and Homeland. Showtime also carries premium sports programming, including Inside the NFL, and Showtime Championship Boxing. fuboTV’s price for Showtime is the same as the standalone offering to consumers.
More locals, NFL coverage with CBS, NBC
fuboTV is continuing to add local CBS and NBC stations, including 15 more just before the start of the NFL playoffs. Back in June, fuboTV struck a deal with CBS Corporation, which brought the first wave of local CBS stations, along with CBS Sports Network, The CW, Pop and CBSN in select markets.
To date, fuboTV carries 126 local TV stations, including ones owned and operated by or affiliated with CBS, FOX or NBC. Last month, fuboTV addd six new local CBS stations in Texas, Florida and Washington, D.C., giving the live streaming TV service 100 percent coverage of FOX and CBS in the top 20 markets.
