Live stream 2017 MLB World Series Online

The Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers will play tonight on the biggest stage that Major League Baseball has to offer.

Game 7 in the World Series is never a small thing. And last night the Dodgers proved that players were far from relenting in their bid to become champions beating the Astros, 3-1, during a tightly contested matchup.

It’s difficult to say how Hall of Fame voting will play out, but there’s some speculation that Kershaw and Justin Verlander are on the shortlist. No matter what team you’re rooting for, here’s the great news. You won’t need a cable subscription to watch these two top teams in baseball go at it for Game 7.

Why?

Because Game 7 will appear on FOX. So you will have two ways to watch the World Series without cable. Either use a TV antenna or if that doesn’t work for you, then try out a 7-day free trial from a live TV streaming service.

Having a free trial that lasts a week is great because you can watch the World Series Game 7 and six more days of free TV. Before I delve into my top pick for live streaming the World Series, we need to talk about a free option that will last you longer than seven days.

What Channel is the 2017 MLB World Series?

  • Channel: FOX
  • Games start roughly at: 8:09 P.M. ET
  • Best Way to Live Stream: DirecTV Now or FOX Sports Go app

How to watch the World Series for free

There are advantages to owning your own TV antenna, especially during World Series week. You want to have a great picture, especially if you have a big TV. Well, here’s something your cable company won’t be blabbing about anytime soon. Using a TV antenna will actually give you a better picture than a cable subscription.

The reason?

Broadcasts from local towers – like your local FOX affiliate – are transmitting signals that are uncompressed HD quality. You will notice quite a difference in picture quality once you set up your antenna and scan for channels. And guess what? Once the series is over, you can keep watching those channels for FREE. You can check how close you are to local TV broadcast towers using AntennaWeb by typing in your zip code.

What’s the best way to watch 2017 World Series games live? DirecTV Now

DirecTV Now is my top pick this year for watching the World Series because you’re covered no matter where you go.

You could be sitting in the back of a cab somewhere with just your iPhone. Just start watching on the DirecTV Now app. Likewise, you can be kicking back in your living room watching the game on your Roku or Fire TV.

Either way, DirecTV Now has all your bases covered for getting FOX in many places around the country. That’s especially true for Dodgers and Astros fans trying to watch their home team. If you take a look at the list of FOX affiliates that DirecTV Now has, you’ll see Los Angeles is among many areas of California with coverage. Astros fans in Houston can also tune in using DirecTV Now, along with several other areas in Texas.
