fuboTV adds MSG Networks

Regional sports networks join flagship fubo Premier package

fuboTV today announced a multi-year agreement with MSG Networks just in time for the new NBA and NHL seasons.

The two regional sports networks MSG and MSG+ will be added to the base package of 65-plus channels in the coming days. fuboTV will carry the MSG Networks throughout their regional footprint, including the greater New York City metro area and all of New York State. 

Subscribers in the region will have access to MSG Networks’ exclusive live coverage of 10 New York-area pro sports teams. They include the New York Knicks; New York Rangers; New York Islanders; New Jersey Devils; Buffalo Sabres; New York Liberty; New York Red Bulls and the Westchester Knicks.

MSG Network will provide TV Everywhere support

MSG Networks carry in-depth team coverage of the New York Giants and Buffalo Bills.  The two networks annually deliver approximately 500 live professional games, a comprehensive line-up of other sporting events and original programming.

Fubo Premier, including MSG Networks’ sports programming following launch, will be available to new subscribers in New York at $19.99 for the first two months, and $44.99 thereafter.  Subscribers will soon be able to use a fuboTV login and password to access MSG Networks programming via the MSG GO website and mobile app.

fuboTV adds MSG Networks: Price difference for new fubo Premier subscribers

The MSG Networks are the latest in a series of new channels and upgrades that fuboTV has been making in recent weeks. Earlier this month, fuboTV improved its Cloud DVR feature, giving Premier subscribers 30 hours of space. An additional 500 hours is also being offered for $9.99 per month.

With the announcement of MSG Networks, fuboTV is adjusted some of its price structure that will mostly impact new customers.

• The official monthly price for Fubo Premier is lowering to $39.99 from the previously announced price of $49.99. It becomes effective for all new subscribers following the two-month promotional rate of $19.99 per month.
• The official monthly price for Fubo Premier in New York state and the rest of the NY metro area (the areas that will have MSG and MSG+) is $44.99.
• Current Fubo Premier subscribers will retain the $34.99/month rate.
• MSG and MSG+ will be available to current Fubo Premier subscribers in the network’s footprint at no additional fee.
