E3 ends today so here’s some deals to keep your gamer buzz going strong

There’s a lot of talk this week at E3 — the Electronic Entertainment Expo — about new games, new consoles and virtual reality coming closer to being a reality for everyday gaming. In case you missed it, you should really head over to the PlayStation blog to see some exciting new games on the horizon this fall along with nearly 50 new games expected to be released for PlayStation VR. On YouTube today, you can tune in and get a front row seat at E3 see the latest news, announcements and interviews from E3 in Los Angeles (no cable subscription required.)

Last night, we opined a bit on why PlayStation VR will position Sony to be a dominant force in the cord cutting market in the next year as companies like Hulu enter the live TV streaming game to compete with Sling TV and PlayStation Vue.

Here’s a few items on sale this week from around the web that should satisfy cord cutters and gamers alike:

Ever get tired of using a game controller to enter your password in Xbox One and PlayStation 4? iClever has a pretty handy solution with their wireless keyboard and trackpad remote. It’s only $13.99 today on Amazon. If you’re not the game console type, this is still a well-liked tool for cord cutters and people with a home theater PC.

Anyone who needs to renew their Xbox Live membership should snap up a 12-month month membership for only $39. Usually, this is priced at $59.99 and doesn’t go on sale all that often.

If you’re more of a PlayStation-type, then Best Buy has a deal onPlaystation Plus 12-month membership for only $39.99. That saves you $10 from the regular price.

You might want to wait for the new Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles that were announced this week at E3, or you might want to shop around and see what kind of bundles are on sale for the current models. You can pick up a PlayStation 4 console with Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Bundle brand new from Target (via eBay) for $349.
At Amazon, you can choose your own game bundle with an XBox One with a 500GB console for $279. Microsoft is offering savings of up to 80% on select Xbox games and accessories as well.
